Vision
To develop a world-class African platform for translational research, clinical collaboration and patient-informed practice in Primary Hyperoxaluria of all types, leading to a thorough understanding of the epidemiology, renal and systemic involvement of this metabolic disorder, thereby ultimately contributing to finding a cure.
Mission
To provide an opportunity for patients, families, health care professionals and scientists to exchange expertise, find advise and provide practical support for a better understanding and management of the primary hyperoxalurias in African countries.
Strategy
Alignment with existing hyperoxaluria research consortia, which aim to share information for increased power of scientific output.
